Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic logging system (ELD) documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete timely deliveries while maintaining optimal fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate manual transmissions
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overnight hauls
- Willingness to travel long distances (up to 14 days at a time)
