Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Manage delivery documentation and verify shipment accuracy
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents immediately
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class A CDL license or ability to obtain through company-sponsored training
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and documentation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for on-time deliveries
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to complete paid company training program
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
