Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for freight transport
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Inspect vehicles before/during/after trips for compliance
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Maintain clean driving record and required certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in route navigation (GPS/maps)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Knowledge of hazmat handling (preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
