Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry vans, reefers) following DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety procedures
- Communicate with dispatchers and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to HOS guidelines and maintain clean driving record
- Participate in quarterly safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience or recent CDL graduate
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
