Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Keep the truck clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Must have a clean driving record (no more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to undergo paid CDL training if no current license.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
