Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Transport cargo safely and securely to designated delivery points across the region.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery locations.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Uphold strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience (Preferred for Class A, Entry Level friendly for Class B).
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
