Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations and company policies
- Deliver freight to designated locations while maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Secure and properly load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Adapt to varying schedules and routes as assigned by logistics team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 21 years of age with ability to pass DOT physical
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training programs
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
