Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated trailers) across Ohio and neighboring states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate driving logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete quarterly safety training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
