Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles to transport goods within California
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload freight with attention to detail and proper handling procedures
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently to meet on-time performance targets
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Complete required paperwork and electronic logging systems accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
