Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe, efficient, and legally compliant manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time, every time.
- Manage cargo loading and unloading procedures safely and securely.
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and paperwork in strict compliance with federal regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 60 days.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
