Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across North Carolina and neighboring states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Assist with freight handling when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience (CDL-A preferred but not required)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
