Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when required
- Represent Baltimore Freight Solutions with professionalism and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks (up to 50 lbs)
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored training programs
