Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefer, or flatbed) within Atlanta metropolitan area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols during all operations
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Atlanta metro area and Georgia highway system
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings/weekends
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- No experience required - recent graduates welcome!
