Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on regional routes within New Mexico.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely, ensuring no damage occurs.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and shippers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred (Entry Level candidates with clean records will be considered).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for calculating delivery times and loads.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
