Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for timely deliveries and route optimization
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo and verify shipment documentation
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Report road hazards and traffic conditions to fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience or CDL graduate
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement (training provided)
