Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods and materials
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems and route planning
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience (acceptable with training)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training
