Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated California routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adapt to changing schedules and delivery priorities with professionalism
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and timely deliveries
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Knowledge of California highway regulations and hazardous materials handling
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
