Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS navigation and route optimization
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Secure cargo according to safety standards and unload merchandise when required
- Complete all necessary paperwork and digital documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with California traffic laws and mountain routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings
