Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Class A CDL license
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and irregular hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required
