Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across designated routes in Oklahoma and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route changes
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Represent Swift Logistics professionally at customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 6 months driving experience or recent CDL graduate
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for regional routes and overnight travel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
