Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Minnesota and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork according to DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight using proper material handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to all federal/state traffic laws and safety protocols
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Willingness to work variable schedules including weekends
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required
