Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Virginia and neighboring states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Represent Coastal Transport Solutions with professionalism at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license (Class A or B)
- Ability to obtain CDL-A within 90 days of hire (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for logging systems
