Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within the Nashville metropolitan area
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all federal/state DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training modules
- Support warehouse operations when not on driving assignments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
