Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport goods across Colorado and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Document delivery receipts and resolve any shipment discrepancies
- Represent Rocky Mountain Transport professionally with all stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (or equivalent training)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
