Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely within Detroit metro area routes
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in ongoing CDL skill development training
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license (Class A/B preferred but not required)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- No prior CDL experience necessary – training provided
- Basic math skills for load verification
- Flexibility to work early morning/late evening shifts
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
