Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with attention to detail and handling procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding deliveries
- Maintain clean driving record and report any maintenance issues
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance evaluations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Physical ability to handle cargo in various weather conditions
- Customer service-oriented communication skills
