Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) within Chicago metro area and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in paid orientation and ongoing safety training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, or weekends
- Strong attention to detail and safety commitment
