Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with all DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo securely using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Manage delivery timelines efficiently to meet customer expectations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or obtainable within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
