Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within NYC metropolitan area
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist in route planning and navigation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license required
- Clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of NYC traffic regulations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning/night shifts
- Willingness to undergo company training program
