Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across designated routes
- Inspect and maintain truck systems per DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with precision and care
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Desert Star Transport professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- 1+ years commercial driving experience preferred
- Clean MVR and satisfactory background check
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
