Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for hours of service and cargo
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic regulations
- Load/unload cargo with appropriate equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Report any maintenance issues or road hazards promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or ability to obtain one through our training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety and operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Willingness to travel overnight when required
