Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations and company policies
- Transport freight across the Mid-Atlantic region with on-time delivery
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation using electronic logging devices
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving techniques
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (required at hire)
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and overnight trips
- Clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
