Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across regional routes in Florida and Georgia
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using industry-standard equipment
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance evaluations
- Assist with route optimization and timely delivery of freight
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required (no experience necessary)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Basic familiarity with DOT regulations and logbooks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
- Valid passport for potential cross-border shipments
