Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across the region
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo when required
- Report maintenance issues and accidents immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
