Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch for route optimization and scheduling
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility for variable schedules including early mornings and weekends
- No prior commercial experience necessary - training provided
