Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' trailers) following DOT regulations
- Complete pre-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Load/unload freight with proper securement techniques
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route optimization
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and required paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding shipment status
- Represent the company professionally at customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (Class A or B preferred)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
- Willingness to work flexible schedules (including nights/weekends)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Must be 21+ years of age
