Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) within designated routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist in route planning and navigation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (no experience required)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
