Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) within DC metropolitan area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Deliver freight to commercial and residential locations on strict schedules
- Adhere to all federal/state regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Represent Capital Fleet Solutions professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DC metropolitan area geography
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for scheduled routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored certification programs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
