Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) following DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to company policies
- Assist with warehouse duties when not on assigned routes
Qualifications
- Valid California Class A or B CDL license
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
