Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across San Antonio and surrounding areas
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Deliver freight on time while adhering to strict safety protocols and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo using proper techniques and equipment handling procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding shipments
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all federal/state transportation regulations
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience or recent CDL graduate from accredited program
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety compliance standards
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable attendance record
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
