Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes in New Mexico
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and route changes
- Represent Desert Transport Solutions professionally with customers and vendors
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL license (paid training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible schedule including weekends and early mornings
- No prior CDL experience required
