Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
