Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments with proper equipment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (or recent CDL graduate)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Texas roadways and geography
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be at least 21 years old
