Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional delivery routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring securement and protection.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and company policy compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or ability to obtain one).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
