Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, securing freight to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a zero-accident environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Illinois.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) with no restrictions.
- Clean driving record (no more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
- US Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
