Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring cargo security and weight limits.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety policies, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (no experience required).
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic math skills for calculating weights and loads.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
