Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/Elog) and ensure all paperwork is completed thoroughly and on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to prevent accidents and violations.
- Provide excellent customer service to shippers and receivers during delivery stops.
- Report mechanical issues immediately to maintain fleet reliability.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 0-2 years of driving experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with clean records will be considered.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of roadmaps and navigation tools.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo in various weather conditions.
