Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in good condition.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT compliant) and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (Ohio residency preferred).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
