Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to transport goods across California and neighboring states.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of cargo, miles driven, and hours of service using ELDs.
- Deliver freight on time while adhering to strict delivery schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and warehouse partners.
- Ensure the vehicle remains clean, organized, and in good mechanical condition.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (Must have or be willing to obtain).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and endure long hours on the road.
