Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down methods and equipment.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
